Baseball: Sherman Oaks Notre Dame beaten in National Classic

It was a battle of Notre Dames in a consolation game of the National Classic, and Sherman Oaks Notre Dame was beaten by Scottsdale (Ariz.) Notre Dame Prep, 11-6.

The Knights (13-4) received a home run from Kelly Dugan, his third of the tournament. Brendan Dohs had a two-run home run and triple.
