Baseball: Mater Dei holding 2-1 lead

After five innings of the National Classic championship game, Mater Dei continues to hold a 2-1 lead over El Toro at Cal State Fullerton.

Ruben Orosco of Mater Dei has struck out five and allowed three hits. T.J. Kendzora of El Toro has struck out seven and given up three hits.

Brian Frattali’s first-inning two-run home run is holding up for Mater Dei.
