Five innings have been completed in the National Classic semifinal game at Cal State Fullerton, and Santa Ana Mater Dei holds a 4-2 lead over Anaheim Esperanza.

Brian Frattali has an RBI double and an RBI single for Mater Dei. Ian McCarthy is trying to go the distance on the mound for the Monarchs.
