Where have all the players gone? That’s what Ed Croson, the new football coach at West Hills Chaminade, is wondering.

Last year in his off-season class at Birmingham, he had 138 players. Now, in his off-season class at Chaminade, he has 17.

‘The kids have scattered,’ Croson said.

Starting next week, Croson will be working in the morning and afternoon at Chaminade while teaching three periods at Birmingham, and his goal is to start finding players at nutrition, lunch and after school to join the Eagles’ football program.
