Boys’ basketball: Taft holds off Cleveland

Justin Hawkins scored 12 points and Michael Williams had 10 to help Taft defeat Cleveland, 62-54, and wrap up the West Valley League championship.

In a Western League game, Palisades defeated University, 61-60. Garrett Nevels led Palisades with 20 points.
