Football: Lakewood takes control, 28-14

Jerry Stone scored on a two-yard run to give Lakewood a 28-14 lead over Servite with 5:26 left in the game.

It appeared the Friars had stopped the Lancers on the drive when Aaron Aviles hauled in a 27-yard pass on a fake punt to extend the drive.

Stone has 175 yards and a touchdown in 26 carries.
