So far, a ninth-grade arm is dominating.

Granda Hills freshman starter Matt Troupe has a two-hit shutout through four innings of the City Section Invitational Division final Saturday morning at Dodger Stadium. The Highlanders took a 1-0 lead in the third inning when Michael Acosta scored on Daniel Pohl’s sacrifice fly.

Let’s see if Troupe can keep the shutout alive.
