Softball: Glendora can’t take full advantage against El Modena

Just when it looked as if Glendora was making a comeback, the Tartans’ failed to fully capitalize on their situation Friday night at Barber Park in Irvine.

The Tartans, who picked up a run in the bottom of the fourth, have stranded nine runners in the game and continue to trail El Modena, 7-3, in the Southern Section-Toyota Division II championship game. The game is heading into the fifth inning.
