Swimming: The faves make waves at Foothill Swim Games

Prelims earlier this week turned out to be a good indicator of who was going to do well at the 36th Foothill Swim Games. In this case, the El Toro boys and the Santa Margarita girls, who won the respective titles.

El Toro swept the boys relays, and also received first-place efforts from Cameron Henry in the 100 butterfly and freshman Russell Renteria in the 100 backstroke.

The Santa Margarita boys finished second.

Santa Margarita girls received winning performances from Alex Delaney in the 200 freestyle, Meagan Brown in the 500 free and Shannon Mack in the 200 individual medley.
