The star boys’ basketball player at Euclid High School in a Cleveland suburb returned to campus with his mother last week, expecting to be introduced to a college recruiter.

Instead, the kid watched as his high school coach was pepper-sprayed and tasered in front of the school, his mother was also cuffed for resisting arrest and he’ll likely face similar charges in juvenile court.

Needless to say, they never met with the recruiter from Wilberforce University.

According to this report, it all started when a campus police officer attempted to shove the boys’ mother out of a school lobby (no reason given), prompting the player to ‘question the officer’s actions.’’

His high school coach, who had returned to campus to introduce the player to the recruiter, got wind of the altercation while watching a state tournament game in Euclid’s gymnasium. He attempted to come to his players’ aid, ignored officer’s commands to keep his distance and then flailed his arms when they got physical. Out came the taser and pepper spray.
