As the final minute ticked down, Dominguez’s Jordan Hamilton committed a violation -- traveling. ‘See that,’ a King fan hollered out, ‘he’s good but he ain’t walking on water.’
No, but Hamilton walked all over the Wolves with a slew of double-pump dunks, left-handed layups, right-handed floaters -- and 35 points as Dominguez (16-2) dethroned King (17-2), 68-60.
‘I just stayed calm on this big stage,’ Hamilton said as he stepped into the Pauley Pavilion locker room. ‘There were a lot of people out there.’
