The news doesn’t get much worse than this from CalHiSports.com. Terrell Rogers, the father of standout junior Tierra Rogers of two-time defending state champion San Francisco Sacred Heart Cathedral, was killed on Saturday at halftime of his daughter’s game against San Jose Archbishop Mitty.

The San Francisco Chronicle reported about the reaction Monday at the school, and the police theory that Rogers was a target for his anti-violence stance.

Cathedral is the team that beat Long Beach Poly a few weeks ago to become the No. 1 team in the state.

I don’t even know what to say about this one.
