Corona Centennial football players continue to solidify their college plans, as leading receiver Marsel Posey committed to Idaho on Tuesday.

Posey caught 72 passes for 859 yards and four touchdowns last season. He also ran for a score and returned a kickoff for another touchdown.

On Sunday, Centennial running back Ryan Bass announced he had backed out of his commitment to Arizona and chose Arizona State, which has to be a kick in the pants for Wildcat fans. If that didn’t sting enough, Centennial linebackers Shelly Lyons and Bradon Magee also committed to the Sun Devils.

Word is, Centennial quarterback Matt Scott is keeping his word to Arizona, even though Michigan reportedly offered him a scholarship last week.

The scenery is better in Tucson, trust me Matt.
