If you’re planning to attend Friday night’s Western League boys’ basketball showdown between Westchester and host Fairfax, 1,000 tickets go on sale on a first-come, first-serve basis at 4 p.m. on game day. Game time is 7 p.m., so you’ll have to sit through the JV game that starts at 5:30 p.m., but it’s usually worth it.

If you don’t want to sit in a crammed gym, the game will be televised on a tape-delayed basis at 10 p.m. by LA36 or available at LA36.org.

Either way, it should be a memorable game, with 6-10 Renardo Sidney of Fairfax taking on Westchester’s talented guards, Oscar Bellfield and Jarred Dubois.
