As Campbell Hall takes a 44-36 lead on Compton at halftime, the following thought came to mind: Never mind the Kevin Love-O.J. Mayo confrontations of the current season, Bruin and Trojan fans. The Jrue Holiday-Demar DeRozan battles will be even better.

Both are close in height -- UCLA-bound Holiday of Campbell Hall is 6-foot-4, and USC-bound DeRozan of Compton is 6-6. Both are quick. Both are smart. Both play unselfishly. Both are giving the Ocean View tournament crowd a delicious taste of their future confrontations.
