Servite senior quarterback Johnny McEntee scored on a one-yard keeper after D.J. Shoemate set up the touchdown with a 45-yard run on the previous play.
The point-after kick gave the Friars a 7-6 edge on St. John Bosco with 6:41 left in the second quarter.
Servite took a 14-6 halftime lead after Greg Portis’ short touchdown reception with 1:53 to play.
St. John Bosco’s Cosme Garcia tried a 43-yard field goal but it fell short in the closing seconds of the second quarter.
