Birmingham’s Jackson twins headed to Fresno State

Birmingham’s defensive ends Marquis and Malik Jackson, pictured left when sophomores, have selected Fresno State as their college choice.

Malik, a 6-foot-5, 220-pound senior, is the first twin to be offered a scholarship.

Marquis, 6-4, 220 pounds, also intends to sign with Fresno State but must clear up some academic issues before the school makes an official offer, according to his father.

Both are big-time pass rushers with tremendous athleticism and have helped make Birmingham’s defense one of the best in the Southland.
