Big basketball showdown Saturday in Hollywood fall league

For those who can’t wait until the start of the basketball season at the end of November, the Hollywood fall league will have an intriguing matchup at 11 a.m. on Saturday at Hollywood High, where Woodland Hills Taft, led by North Carolina-bound Larry Drew Jr., takes on North Hollywood Harvard-Westlake and 6-7 Renaldo Woolridge, pictured left.

Sometimes the top players don’t show up for these fall league games, but I have a suspicion that these schools will be close to full strength, considering they are only a couple weeks away from the start of official practice.
