Opinion: How about a souvenir Metro map with Obama’s face?

Souvenir vendors are everywhere in Washington. Something to do with an inauguration.
There’s almost no iteration of Obamabilia you can’t find -- T-shirts, ball caps, knit caps, key chains, pencils, mugs and American flags withObama’s smiling face on them. Even the Metro rail system got in on the act with machines spewing out fare cards featuring pictures of Obama.
But few souvenir hawkers could best Metro station manager Connie Clark’s pitch as she passed out folded Metro maps on a train platform at L’Enfant Plaza in downtown Washington on Saturday afternoon.
‘Your commemorative guide! It’s free!’ Clark called out. ‘It’s history-making! Save it! Send it home to Mama! Put it in your scrapbook!’
She had plenty of takers.
