Opinion: An early Pennsylvania exit poll figure

With virtually everyone -- including Barack Obama -- waiting to find out not if, but by how much, Hillary Clinton wins today’s Pennsylvania primary, a preliminary exit poll result reveals that, in the eyes of many of the state’s voters, it will be a hollow victory.

CNN just reported that 54% of those who cast ballots in the Democratic contest said that, regardless of who they favor, they believe Obama will emerge as the nominee.

Conversely, 43% said they expect Clinton to eventually prevail.
