Dwon Houston, a 21-year-old black man, was shot several times and died June 10 in the 600 block of West Hyde Park Boulevard in Inglewood, according to the Los Angeles County coroner’s office.
Craig Harvey, chief coroner investigator and chief of operations for the coroner’s office, said Houston had gotten into an argument with his step-father when the man pulled a gun and shot him several times.
Houston was shot about 11:20 a.m. and was pronounced dead at 12:03 p.m. the same day, Harvey said.
