Trecion Adams-Grace, an 18-month-old black girl, died shortly after 1 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 4, 2008, in Lancaster, according to Los Angeles County sheriff’s and coroner’s records.
Sheriff’s deputies responded to a call of a ‘baby not breathing’ in the 400 block of East Avenue H-14 in Lancaster. Trecion was taken to a hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
Sheriff’s deputies said that her body showed signs of abuse. The Los Angeles County coroner reported Trecion’s cause of death as blunt force trauma. A person whose name was withheld by authorities was arrested and booked at the Lancaster police station in connection with her death, sheriff’s officials said.
