Marvin Sanchez, 30, a Latino man, was shot to death by a store clerk during an attempted robbery about 2:30 p.m. in Pacoima Saturday, April 26. According to police, Sanchez walked into the Del Gaudio mini market at 10567 San Fernando Road, pulled out a handgun and demanded money. Police said the clerk shot him, and paramedics later found him dead on the sidewalk. Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to call Foothill Dets.
