Timothy Bradley has agreed to fight Manny Pacquiao on June 9 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.
Bradley’s wife, Monica, said the boxer and his manager, Cameron Dunkin, are finalizing specifics of the deal and are expected to sign a contract later this week.
Cathedral City’s Bradley (28-0, 12 KOs) is the World Boxing Organization junior welterweight champion.
The fight against Pacquiao will be a welterweight fight at 147 pounds. Bradley fought at welterweight against Luis Carlos Abregu on July 17, 2010, and won by a unanimous decision.
Pacquiao (54-3, 38 KOs) selected Bradley after negotiations to fight Floyd Mayweather Jr. crumbled again last month.
