A search party is looking for boxing promoter Bob Arum’s son, who went missing in the Cascade mountains.
John Arum, a 49-year-old environmental lawyer, was supposed to have returned home Sunday after hiking Storm King Peak. Rangers found his campsite but said it appeared as though he hadn’t been there since Saturday.
John Arum is an experienced hiker who was attempting to climb the 100 highest summits in Washington.
The elder Arum left for Seattle on Tuesday, cutting short his promotional tour for Manny Pacquiao and Antonio Margarito’s next fight.
