Hole No. 9 (Carolina Cherry)
460 yards, par 4
Tiger Woods parred. Once again unable to find the proper tier on the green with his approach shot, leaving him with a long uphill putt to the back of the putting surface. Lagged up to an easy tap-in, making the turn in the same position he started the round.
Today: Even-par.
Tournament: 4-under.
Standing: Tied for eighth, two shots behind co-leaders Fred Couples (6-under through 11), Ian Poulter (6-under through 9) and Ricky Barnes (6-under through 8).
Today’s stats: 4 of 7 fairways / 5 of 9 greens / 14 total putts.
