Hole No. 8 (Yellow Jasmine)
570 yards, par 5
Tiger Woods parred. Site of one of yesterday’s two Woods eagles, a back tee position and cooler conditions left No. 8 not nearly as accessible. Woods layed up, then watched his wedge approach again come up short of its intended target – rolling back some 70 feet to set up a challenging two-putt.
Today: Even-par.
Tournament: 4-under.
Standing: Tied for eighth, two shots behind co-leaders Fred Couples (6-under through 10), Ian Poulter (6-under through 9) and Ricky Barnes (6-under through 8).
