Hole No. 14 (Chinese Fir)
440 yards, par 4
Tiger Woods parred. Caught a bit of an unfortunate break when his approach shot checked up about 10 feet from the flagstick, but trickled and trickled some more down a ridge off to the right side of the green’s right edge. Left with some 90 feet to negotiate, he lagged up to four feet and took the par.
Today: 1-under par.
Tournament: 5-under.
Standing: Tied for fifth, four shots behind new leader Lee Westwood (9-under through 7).
Today’s stats: 8 of 11 fairways / 8 of 14 greens / 21 total putts.
