Kendry Morales’ third-inning grand slam off Chad Billingsley propelled the Angels to a 6-4 victory over the Dodgers on Saturday afternoon at Dodger Stadium, completing a sweep of the two-game Freeway Series.
The crowd of 35,310 had thinned considerably by the final pitch, as the game featured no scoring after a solo home run by Dodgers outfielder Xavier Paul in the fourth inning.
The Dodgers open the season Monday in Pittsburgh and the Angels open the same day at home against Minnesota.
