Two former Southland men’s basketball coaches got new jobs this week. Steve Lavin, who led UCLA to five NCAA Sweet 16s from 1996 to 2003, is now the head coach at St. John’s.
Tim Floyd, who led USC to three consecutive NCAA tournaments before resigning in June, was hired by Texas El Paso. It’s been a good week for both of them, but who will be happier a year from now? Vote, then leave a comment letting us know why you voted the way you did.
