It took UCLA until halftime to wake up in a morning game against Arizona, and that was way too late as the Bruins fell, 77-63, at Pauley Pavilion.
Most of the damage was done in a sluggish first 20 minutes.
The Bruins shot just 21% and were badly out-rebounded, falling behind by 15 points. They played better in the second half but not nearly good enough to make up the difference.
Kyle Fogg and Jamelle Horne scored 25 and 17 points for the Wildcats, respectively.
UCLA was led by Michael Roll and Malcolm Lee with 15 points each.
