Clippers vs. Raptors: Update

It can be considered a good day when Clippers players, coaches, staff and even a clumsy beat writer can get through a 24-hour period without getting sick or injured.
So it is time to express some cautious optimism regarding big man Chris Kaman. Kaman, who has been suffering from a virus the last few days, appeared at the morning shootaround on Friday. Assuming nothing goes terribly wrong in the next few hours, it looks as if the Clippers’ leading scorer will be playing against the Raptors tonight at Staples Center.
After all, Kaman himself said after Wednesday’s loss to Oklahoma City that he would be good to go against Toronto. He missed practice on Thursday, but that was as much to make sure his teammates didn’t get sick too.
One other thing to look forward to is local product DeMar DeRozan’s first pro game in Southern California.
The Raptor rookie and former USC star has dunked three times this season, most recently against the Bulls, and his teammates had some fun teasing him.
Wonder how long it will take him to try to dunk against the Clippers?
