While the Bruins wait for Josh Smith to choose between Westwood and Washington, a decision that could come soon, another big-time prospect was in town for a visit last weekend.
Harrison Barnes is the nation’s top-ranked recruit, a 6-6 small forward from Ames, Iowa. He is known to be a hard worker as well as an excellent student.
UCLA has plenty of competition for his services. At this point, Duke and North Carolina look like the front-runners, with Kansas, Oklahoma and Iowa State also on the list.
