Kings right winger Alexander Frolov did not skate in this morning’s team practice because of an injury he suffered during the team’s victory over Phoenix on Monday.
Coach Terry Murray said Frolov has a hip flexor injury, but said the team expects him to practice Wednesday. The Kings play host to the defending Stanley Cup champion Pittsburgh Penguins on Thursday.
Frolov has four goals and 12 points in 14 games with the Kings this season.
