Santa Anita had scheduled a Snow Day for this Sunday but today canceled that because of -- no, not snow, but rain. There is a 40% chance of showers that day for Arcadia, home to the racetrack.
Snow Day involves 200 tons of snow being trucked in to Santa Anita, along with a skating rink and snow slides. Track officials said Snow Day would be rescheduled, although this is not the first time rain and cold weather have been a problem at the track. Now no Snow Day.
