Tickets are still available online for the Lakers-Celtics game at Staples Center on Christmas Day.

Prices on the razorgator.com website range from $252 for a seat in the nosebleed section high above the visitor’s bench to $8,019 for a VIP court-side seat. The website also shows a seat open in a luxury box for $8,935.

Earlier today, the top price being demanded by a seller was $9,164. ‘For every very high-end product like this sort of seat, you get a little bit of price surpression as the game approaches,’ said RazorGator Vice President Scott Roback. ‘By virtue of the cost, and the fact that the inventory is perishable in nature, you might have someone lowering the price a bit. ‘

Though the Lakers-Celtics game is a big one, it’s sometimes hard to measure fan demand on a day when many Los Angeles residents are out of town and others already have commitments.’But it’s still LA and a big, high-profile game like this is going to attract a lot of national interest,’ Roback said.

Fans looking for a stocking stuffer had best act quickly because most tickets must be purchased by the end of business on Tuesday in order to ensure delivery.
