L.A. Sports Museum to add Beijing Games posters

The Los Angeles Sports Museum on Monday will take posession of 32 Beijing Games posters -- a collection that will be the only official poster set to be displayed outside China.

A group of Chinese officials will present the posters to museum owner and curator Gary Cypres during a 4 p.m. ceremony Monday.

Half of the posters are from the Summer Games, the other half are from the Beijing Paralympics.

The museum that opened in November is located at the corner of Main Street and Washington Boulevard in downtown Los Angeles.
