Eric Schmidt, the CEO of Google, has donated $12,900 to Atty. Gen. Jerry Brown’s bid for governor.
Schmidt must have been impressed by Brown during his hourlong appearance at the Googleplex, the nickname for the company’s Mountain View headquarters, earlier this month.
In that appearance, Alan Davidson, a Google official, noted that Meg Whitman had also been invited but wasn’t expected to come to the company HQ until ‘probably after the primaries.’
You can watch Brown’s sit-down with with Schmidt below.
