It appears that as little as $500 (not tax-deductible) will get you an invite to the Washington residence of U.S. Sen. Barbara Boxer tonight.

Chase Davis of the nonprofit California Watch Tweeted a link to the invite, which is posted on the nifty website Party Time: Documenting the Political Party Circuit. The event is billed as a ‘Welcome Back to Washington’ reception.

A check of $4,800 earns donors the title of ‘host.’ The pitch for political cash makes note of the various committees Boxer sits on, including the Ethics Committee, which she chairs.
