Fashion and celebrity photographer and documentarian David LaChapelle has listed his 1920s Spanish-style home for $1.65 million.
The house, in the Sunset Strip area, has three bedrooms and two bathrooms in an open-floor plan of 1,912 square feet. Archways define the passage from one room to the next. There is a remodeled kitchen, a fireplace, dark hardwood floors, city views, a blue-tile swimming pool and a spa. Even a view of Chateau Marmont.
LaChapelle, 46, had listed the place in December at $1.55 million and bought it in 1999 for $800,000, according to public records.
The most recent sale on the block was in August 2007, when a house of the same vintage but 200 square feet smaller sold for $1,499,000, according to BlockShopper.com.
