Amber Tamblyn and David Cross engaged -- for weeks now

Amber Tamblyn and David Cross are engaged -- and apparently have been for weeks, according to reports out Wednesday.

Cross, 47, counts ‘Arrested Development,’ ‘Megamind’ and the ‘Alvin and the Chipmunks’ franchise on his resume, which also includes stand-up comedy; Tamblyn, 28, had a recent run on ‘House’ while Olivia Wilde took time off to make a few (thousand) movies.

The ‘127 Hours’ actress and Emmy nominee also starred in ‘Joan of Arcadia’ (That’s the Emmy-nod outing) and ‘The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants’ films.

The couple made their red-carpet debut together in August 2009, but were spotted making out as early as April 2008, according to the New York Post. Ain’t love grand?

Cross’ rep confirmed the coupling to Life & Style, which first reported the news.
