Joe Francis’ latest romantic entanglement can easily be filed under ‘The Heart Wants What It Wants’ -- and in this case, the heart wanted only a month of togetherness.

The ‘Girls Gone Wild’ founder and his gal pal, Christina McLarty, are dunzo after throwing a lavish shindig in November in Mexico, where the Internet adult-entertainment mogul swapped vows with the brunet. The good news? They were never officially married.

‘There was no divorce and there will be no divorce because the couple was never legally married,’ a publicist for Francis told RadarOnline.

‘After careful and thoughtful consideration on both our parts, Christina and I have mutually decided to end our relationship. We entered into our relationship with love, and it’s with love and kindness that we leave it,’ Francis said through the rep.

Hmm -- where have we heard that before?

The report calls the November event a ‘civil ceremony.’
