Justin Bieber may host a reincarnated ‘Punk’d’

Justin Bieber is all but signed up as the host of a new version of ‘Punk’d,’ the prank show once helmed by Ashton Kutcher, New York magazine reports, citing ‘multiple industry insiders.’

For those Bieber fans who can’t remember the beginning of the decade, either ask your mom and dad or keep reading: Kutcher produced and starred in the MTV series starting in 2003, then retired in 2007 after eight seasons. ‘Punk’d’ played pranks on celebrities, capturing the results on hidden camera.

We’re already imagining gags in which another celeb is caught in a Bieber mall crush, or another celeb is captured getting nailed by a plastic bottle, or slamming into a revolving door, or even a plate glass window (see the video embedded below).
