Trend versus trend: ‘Eclipse’ gets the vuvuzela treatment

Thank goodness they’re not hawking vuvuzelas over at L.A. Live, or who knows what could have happened during Tuesday’s 10 p.m. screening of ‘The Twilight Saga: New Moon’ at Nokia Plaza’s Camp Eclipse, where fans have been parked since Monday waiting for Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, Taylor Lautner and the gang to walk the red carpet.
As it was, the Ministry got spanked for standing between some very serious ‘New Moon’ viewers and the big outdoor screen. Imagine if the girls had been armed with the World Cup’s noisemaker of choices.
This mash-up video of the ‘Eclipse’ trailer comes from the minds over at Hollywood.com. They weren’t the only ones, however. The World Cup and ‘Twilight’ collided on Jimmy Fallon‘s show too, with the bothersome results after the break.
What’s up for the ‘Eclipse’ premiere campers on Thursday? The marching orders from Summit are after the break too.
