IRS taps Christina Ricci for $180,000 income tax bill

Christina Ricci may have thought filming ‘After.Life’ was a hard, cold reality -- but now she’s got something truly brutal to compare it with.

Uncle Sam just hit the actress with a federal income tax lien of nearly $180,000, TMZ reports. The sum is owed on her earnings from 2008. Ricci’s rep said ‘immediate action’ was being taken.

Pamela Anderson recently sported a $493,000 state income tax tab, which was revealed in California’s annual list of the Golden State’s top 250 delinquent taxpayers. The ‘Dancing With the Stars’ contestant called the situation ‘temporary but embarrassing,’ and explained to ‘Access Hollywood’ that she was doing everything she could to set things straight.

In unrelated news that nobody cares about, a certain Ministry bureaucrat will be using part of her tax refund on new brake pads.
