Track coach impaled on fence near school, dies of wounds

A Central California high school track coach died in a gruesome bike accident in front of the school.
Marion Adams, a coach at Rio Linda High in the Sacramento area, was riding his bike after school Monday when he crashed.
A witness said Adams was impaled by part of the fence. The woman told Fox 40 she tried desperately to save Adams -- calling 911, talking to him, and flagging other people down.
Adams was soon rushed to the hospital and went into surgery. He died Tuesday morning.
Adams also taught radio broadcasting at Rio Linda.
Authorities are investigating the case.
