Police plan to continue searching an Ontario backyard Friday morning for the remains of a 29-year-old Laguna Hills truck driver.
Oscar Javier Contreras Escobar, 29, was reported missing by his family in late August, said Sgt. David McBride, a spokesman for the Ontario Police Department.
The man was last seen in the area of Mango Avenue and Foothill Boulevard in Fontana, McBride said.
KTLA-TV reported that suspicious ATM transactions tied to his bank accounts led police to the home in Ontario and its three occupants.
Police will use cadaver dogs and a tractor to search the backyard for remains, McBride said.
The home’s three occupants have been interviewed and released. No charges have been filed, McBride said.
