Hollywood stars will be out in all their glittery glory when the Screen Actors Guild awards are handed out later this month. But did you know the coveted statuettes are made at an unassuming foundry in Burbank?
American Fine Arts Foundry casts the molds for the solid bronze actor statuettes that weigh more than 12 pounds each.
The casting process takes place with workers in protective suits pouring molten bronze into molds to make the Actor, the Screen Actors Guild award.
