Chatsworth arson suspect who allegedly set a dozen fires sought

Arson investigators were expected to release a description Monday of a man suspected of setting a dozen fires in the San Fernando Valley.

The Chatsworth fires were set in garbage bins from Oct. 21 to Oct. 28, said Erik Scott, spokesman for the Los Angeles Fire Department.

They were set in an area bordered by Canoga Avenue on the west, Devonshire Street on the north, Corbin Avenue on the east and Parthenia Street to the south.

The Fire Department released surveillance video Sunday of the suspect and is asking the public to call investigators with information.
