A cloudy but dry Christmas is on tap for much of Southern California, but more rain is on the way.
According to the National Weather Service, the morning fog will give way to cloudy skies. High temperatures will reach only the mid-60s. Lows will be in the mid-40s in the Los Angeles basin.
The snow level will remain at around 6,000 feet.
But overnight, a new storm will arrive, bringing rain Wednesday morning. That stom is expected to dump up to 5 inches of snow in local mountains.
Another storm is possible over the weekend.
